National Grid only provide new gas meter boxes as part of laying a new service or as part of altering an existing gas service. In some circumstances the customer will be required to pay for the new meter box as part of the quotation.

You can order spares and repairs to a domestic (U6) size meter box.

If you require a new meter box you can purchase these from reputable builders merchants as well as from Mitras.

If you are replacing your meter box, you may still require an alteration to the service pipe by National Grid or other provider to enable a full replacement.
