- Site address and postcode (for where you want the work)
Important: we currently only post application packs so be aware of postage times when awaiting your requested pack.
Please be advised: Applying by application form is a slower process because of postage times between you and us as well as the processing time it takes for us to raise your quotation.
You may find receiving a quotation may take longer when compared to applying online for an instant quotation. Producing a quotation from a completed application can take 6 working days or more from us receiving your completed form and all required accompanying information. Your quotation may take a few days to reach you depending on whether you have provided an email address or if it is sent via the post.
Once produced, you will have up to 45 days to accept and pay for your quotation through the post. On receipt of your acceptance and payment of the quotation, we will begin the validation and planning process of your work (this process takes up to 20 working days).

Stages of the work are governed by Ofgem under Guaranteed Standards Of Service for Gas Transporters.
Price Changes: Please be aware there is a price change to the charges National Grid make for your work which will take effect 2nd April 2012. We will always apply the current charge that is in operation when your application is received. We keep our website updated with the current and future charges and their change dates (when known).
To take advantage of any lower charges, please ensure your application reaches us before the higher charge takes affect. The best way to do this is to apply online.
