• You can request a quotation from National Grid for a gas supply connection, alteration or disconnection
• You can request quotations from other companies for a gas supply connection or alteration
• Existing licensed business to business users can request a quotation for a gas supply connection, alteration or disconnection.

National Grid are not the only company who can provide a quotation for a new gas supply or work on existing gas pipes/infrastructure. In most instances you have a choice of companies that you can use for gas connection services.

If you are a domestic customer requiring standard work other companies may not be able to provide you with a competitive quote. In this case please request a quotation from National Grid. If, however, you are a customer requesting non-standard work, other organisations may be able to provide you with a competitive quote for this work.

We have provided a convenient form for you to use to apply for quotations from other organisations. We will pass your information to a number of Utilitiy Infrastructure Providers (UIPs) on your behalf. You should receive a response to your request for a competitive quote within five working days.
