This part of the website contains any current SO Incentive consultation documents issued by National Grid and any responses that have been received from interested parties. Documents relating to previous consultations can be found in the Archive Area.

On 22 August 2008 National Grid Issued the “Consultation on Shrinkage and Residual Balancing Incentive Issues” document requesting responses by 19 September 2008.  On conclusion of the consultation period the responses received will be published on this webpage. 

On 3 September 2008 National Grid issued the “Conclusions on Operating Margins Contestability and Initial Thoughts for Associated SO Incentive Arrangements” document, requesting responses by 30 September 2008.  On conclusion of the consultation period the responses received will be published on this webpage.

On 4 September 2008 National Grid issued the “Consultation on the Development of an Incentive Target Indexation Methodology” document.  Responses are requested by 3 October 2008.  On conclusion of the consultation period, the responses received will be published on this webpage.

Further consultation documents on  Electricity Incentives for April 2009 will be issued shortly.

To support any consultations we have set up a separate Analyst Area which we will use to provide further supporting information.  Where appropriate, National Grid will also set up workshops to engage with interested parties and to allow further opportunity for parties to input their views into the process.
