National Grid provides a range of high voltage maintenance services to external customers such as generators, interconnectors and Distribution Network Operators, all of which are delivered through our experienced Asset Management maintenance and support teams.

We have been providing these services to external customers since 1990 and due to the nature of our business are considered experts in the provision of high voltage maintenance services.

These services are managed through Asset Management’s UK Engineering Services team (UKES), which looks after the customer interface and provides a full customer account management service. This includes contract set up and management, work planning, delivery overview and invoicing. Based in National Grid’s HQ in Warwick, UKES works with its Asset Management colleagues to deliver these services throughout the country.
