This is the new System Operator Incentives area of the National Grid Electricity website.  In a change to previous years, Ofgem has invited National Grid to propose and consult on its own Initial Proposals for gas and electricity System Operator Incentives to apply from 1 April 2008. 

The changes to this year’s process are explained in Ofgem’s letter of 1st November 2007.

On 7th December 2007 we published our Initial Proposals Consultation.  Responses to this consultation are requested by 25th January 2008.  We will be supporting the consultation process through the provision of information, a workshop and meetings.  The consultation information can be found in the Consultation Area.
