Building on the success of the Winter Outlook Report, National Grid now provides a detailed report into a range of issues that the electricity and gas industries may face during the summer months, April to October. This report covers potential electricity and gas issues, such as demand-supply balance, how demand responds to high temperatures, European interactions and transmission issues.

Though we have undertaken a less formal process than that undertaken for the Winter Consultation Report, we welcome feedback on our analysis and the contents of the Summer Outlook Report to help us to ensure that it meets the needs of the industry.
