Prior to 31st December 2004, Scottish Power Transmission Limited and Scottish Hydro-Electric Transmission Limited (the Scottish Transmission Licencees) received a large number of applications from parties seeking to connect to and/or use the Scottish transmission systems after the introduction of BETTA.
