What size is my power station classed as?

The size of a power station is set out in the Grid Code. The size is dependent in which transmission Owners network the site is located in. The text below highlights the size of each power station in the three Transmission Owner networks.

Transmission Owner - National Grid
Large =>100 MW  
Medium <100 =>50 MW  
Small <50 MW

Transmission Owner - Scottish Power
Large =>30 MW   
Small <30 MW

Transmission Owner - Scottish & Southern 
Large =>10 MW   
Small <10 MW
