Transmission Use of System Charges
Transmission Use of system charges are only applicable to customers who have a signed BEGA agreement. Customers with a BELLA agreement are not subject to these charges as they have no rights to use the transmission system. Customers should check with the Distribution Network Operator regarding the applicable Use of System Charges for the distribution system.
Transmission Network Use of system (TNUoS)
Customers with a BEGA agreement will be paid for using the Transmission system; this will be in the form of negative demand charge.
The link below; The Use of System Charges, provides the cost of each tariff zone. To assist in clarifying the geographical location of the zones please refer to the TNUoS Demand Zone Map.
Furthermore a detailed explanation of how the charges are calculated can be found in The Use of System Charging Methodology
Balancing Services Use of System (BSUoS)
This charge recovers the cost of balancing the system through the balancing mechanism process. The relevant BSUoS charge that a customer is contractually liable to pay is based on a number of variables.
