On 22 February 2006, the Authority approved CUSC Amendment Proposal CAP094 for Limited Duration Transmission Entry Capacity (LDTEC) for implementation from 1 April 2006.
This Amendment introduced Limited Duration Transmission Entry Capacity, allowing Users to request an LDTEC Indicative Block Offer, LDTEC Block Offer, or request both offers. Where a request for both offers has been made these will be assessed independently. Requests for these offers must be made within the Financial Year to which the capacity request relates. The Service incurs a fixed application fee for each period applied for, and applications will not be deemed to have been received until this application fee has been paid. This fee may be partially refundable in limited circumstances outlined in the CUSC and in accordance with the Statement of the Use of System Charging Methodology. The Service itself is subject to a LDTEC Charge, calculated using the relevant Short Term Generation Tariff which is dependent on the duration of the capacity provided. Details of the application fee and Short Term Generation Tariff are available in the Statement of Use of System Charges.
