What are the timescales for the Amendment Process and who is responsible for establishing them?
Timescales for each phase of the Amendment Process are set out in the CUSC. The timetable for consideration by a Working Group (if any) is established by the Amendments Panel, but shall be no longer than three months. The timetable for the wider consultation and separately the preparation of the Amendment Report is established by National Grid, but shall be no longer than two months for the consultation and another fourteen days for preparation of the Amendment Report. These timescales may not be extended unless a particular Amendment Proposal justifies such an extension and provided the Authority does not object.
