What is the CUSC Amendments Panel?
The Amendments Panel consists of seven elected industry members, a representative of "National Consumer Council" and Ofgem. National Grid provide the Panel Chairman and also have two Panel Members. All Panel Members are required to act impartially.
Meetings of the Amendments Panel are held at least once a month to determine the process to apply for new Amendment Proposals and monitor progress of existing Amendment Proposals.
The Amendments Panel, together with National Grid, are responsible for establishing a timetable to apply for the Amendment Process of each Amendment Proposal. They are also responsible for determining whether to set up a Working Group or Standing Group, and for setting the timetable and terms of reference for their consideration.
