Users, when making a Connection Application or Use of System Application (in each case in the form of the relevant exhibit), should identify the category for which they are applying.
In all cases, parties who are not already CUSC Parties will be required to accede to the CUSC via the Accession Agreement (Exhibit A of the CUSC) in order to become a party to the CUSC Framework Agreement, which gives contractual effect to the CUSC.
If you intend to supply electricity in the UK you will require a Use of System Supply Offer and Confirmation Notice from National Grid (Exhibit G of the CUSC), this will be given following an application made to use the system (Exhibit F of the CUSC).
In order to supply electricity to the UK from abroad, or for Interconnector Error Administrators, you will require a Use of System Interconnector Offer and Confirmation Notice (Exhibit H of the CUSC), which will be given following an application to use the system (Exhibit F of the CUSC).
