The Service incurs a fixed, non-refundable application fee for each period applied for, and applications will not be deemed to have been received until this application fee has been paid.  Capacity received through a TTECE is subject to an LDTEC Charge, calculated using the relevant LDTEC Tariff and the party selling capacity will still continue to pay TNUoS on its TEC holding, i.e. its charging liability is not changed. Details of the application fee and LDTEC Tariff are available in the Statement of Use of System Charges. The methodology used to derive the LDTEC Tariff can be found in the Statement of the Use of System Charging Methodology. Both these statements can be found on the Charging Statements page of our website.

For further information on the TTECE, please see section 6.34 of the CUSC. Any questions on the products can be directed to TTECE.Applications@uk.ngrid.com.

To Apply for a TTECE, Users interested in donating TEC must first complete the Temporary TEC Exchange Notification of Interest Form (Exhibit X of the CUSC), which will be published here within 10 business days of receipt. Both Users that are party to a TTECE must jointly complete the Temporary TEC Exchange Rate Request Form (Exhibit W of the CUSC). The forms are available to download in Word format on the CUSC Application Forms page of our website.

Please send your completed forms to TTECE.Applications@uk.ngrid.com and fax it to 01926 656618.  It is also advisable to telephone National Grid on 01926 654634 to confirm receipt of applications.
