System Operator - Transmission Owner Code (STC) Website.

Welcome to the System Operator - Transmission Owner Code (STC) Website. The SO-TO Code was activated on the BETTA Go-Active Date (1 September 2004). The STC Code defines the high-level relationship between the GB System Operator and the Transmission Owners. It is supported by a number of procedures (SOTO Code Procedures or STCPs) that will set out in greater detail the roles, responsibilities, obligations and rights etc of the GBSO and the TOs.

Information relating to all aspects of the STC will be accessible on this site as they are developed, including STC Procedures (STCPs) and documents relating to proposed amendments to the STC. Information regarding the STC and STCP amendment process is contained within section B of the STC (Governance).
