Governance of Electrical standards

Under the recently implemented Governance of Electrical Standards Governance Model, Users and National Grid can propose changes to certain specified standards. Those standards, which sit under the Grid Code, are currently the technical standards applicable in each TO licenced area and the provisions relating to EDL and EDT, which are documented in this area of the web site.

The Scottish Electrical Standards for SHETL's Transmission System are non-maintained versions of National Grid Technical Specifications that are applicable to the SHETL Transmission System only.  These specific versions are not subject to National Grid change control and all queries about their applicability and content should be directed to SHETL in the first instance.  (Should Users require the change controlled versions of the GB Transmission System National Grid Technical Specifications please see the National Grid Extranet or Livelink system where applicable.)
