The Charging Review was initiated in February 2002 to examine in a co-ordinated way both the high level principles and the practical issues within National Grid's transmission charging methodologies, including the Connection Charging Methodology and the Use of System Charging Methodology (covering both TNUoS and BSUoS charging).
The Review aims to consider, at all times, the impacts from relevant external developments, especially those concerning transmission access arrangements, the losses charging regime, BETTA, and the European Cross Border Trade (CBT) arrangements.
