Balancing Services Consultations

Please find below a consultation paper prepared by National Grid explaining the changes we intend to make to the Balancing Principles Statement (BPS). The proposed changes to the BPS are of house-keeping nature and are shown in Appendix A. As part of the annual consultation process, the current version of the Procurement Guidelines (PGs) is also included (Appendix B) although no changes are proposed to the PGs.

National Grid will review the comments and provide a final report to the Authority on the proposed changes shortly thereafter. A copy of all responses will be provided to the Authority as part of the final report and will be made publicly available on National Grid’s electricity information website.
