As a member of our System Development Team, you will play a key role in these challenging times by optimising our transmission system design. Drawing on your expertise, your role will involve establishing system development strategies out till 2050 and co-ordinate the design, development and sanction of our investment proposals, each of which could be tens or hundreds of millions of pounds; ultimately ensuring that the transmission system meets the needs of all our users and the wider community.

As such, you will possess a degree, HNC or equivalent in an Engineering, Science, numerical or commercial subject. An additional professional qualification in the field would be an advantage. In conjunction with your Chartered Engineer status or ability to progress to Chartered Engineer status, these qualities will enable you to help us keep this nation energised.
