- Achieved an Employee Engagement Index* of 70% for our 2009 Employee Opinion Survey compared with 60% for the 2008 survey
- 13.2% of our workforce are black or minority ethnic compared with 12.3% in 2007/08
- 22.6% of our workforce are female compared with 22.5% in 2007/08
- Achieved The Times Top 50 UK ‘where women want to work’ status for the third successive year; A Stonewall top 100 company for the first time
- Scored 100% for the second successive year in the US Human Rights Campaign’s 2008 Corporate Equality Index
