Our energy use is dominated by our gas-fuelled compressors on our UK gas transmission network. Other major users of gas and electricity are our LNG sites and the Isle of Grain LNG import terminal.

During 2007/08, our total gas and electricity used reduced by some 11%. This reduction resulted mainly from less energy being used by our UK gas transmission network gas-powered compressors and our Grain LNG importation terminal due to the mild 2007/08 winter.
