Investing in the communities we serve remains a high priority for us. In September 2010, we joined City Year London. City Year is a project that has a proven track record of improving young lives and 2010/11 is City Year London’s first programme. It follows in the footsteps of our longer standing successful partnership with City Year US.

Aged between 18 and 25, City Year London’s Corps members are mentors, tutors and role models in local schools and communities. It offers National Grid the opportunity to be part of something that not only has huge potential to make a difference to the lives of children and young people, but also enhances our schools and community engagement programme especially around our major infrastructure projects in London.
