In this section, we provide key performance data for our global operations. Data is aggregated at Company level or country level (e.g. UK and US) and covers all wholly-owned operations.
Our performance data is for year ended 31 March unless otherwise stated and we have provided five-year trend data for most metrics.
Some data for 2007/08 has been restated as if KeySpan had been owned for the entire year (acquisition occurred mid year, in August 2007). Unfortunately, in many cases incompatibility between the performance metrics used by the two companies prior to acquisition means that a direct comparison is not possible between our 2008/09 and 2009/10 performance and that of prior years.
Unless otherwise stated, the performance data includes discontinued operations (e.g. the four UK distribution networks sold in 2005).
