OnStream, the brand name of Utility Metering Services Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of National Grid plc, and has its head office in Solihull, West Midlands. The company was formed in 2001 to offer a metering service to the rapidly expanding unregulated metering market.
OnStream's services include the rental, installation and maintenance of gas and electricity meters throughout Great Britain, on behalf of energy suppliers.
Additionally, OnStream provides meter reading services to major energy suppliers.
