The scrip dividend reference price for the 2011/12 final dividend (being the average closing mid-market price of an ordinary share for the five dealing days commencing with, and including, the ex-dividend date of 30 May 2012) will be announced 8 June 2012.

The last dividend was the 2011/12 interim dividend of 13.93 pence per ordinary share paid on 18 January 2012 to shareholders on the register on 2 December 2011.
The scrip dividend reference price for the 2011/12 interim dividend (being the average closing mid-market price of an ordinary share for the 5 dealing days commencing with, and including, the ex-dividend date of 30 November 2011) was 613.8 pence.
Following shareholder approval at the 2009 AGM, an optional scrip dividend, allowing shareholders to receive new fully paid ordinary shares in the Company is available to shareholders on the register on the record date for future dividends.
