Stephen Pettit, aged 50, is a former Executive Director of Cable and Wireless plc. He joined Cable and Wireless in March 1994 as Managing Director, Europe, and at the time of his departure from the company in August 2001, he was Executive Director, Corporate Development.
Before joining Cable and Wireless Stephen Pettit was Chief Executive, Petrochemicals at British Petroleum (BP).
He worked for BP from 1974 in a wide range of commercial activities in the BP Group, both internationally and in joint ventures.
Stephen Pettit is Chairman of Damovo, the privately owned network integration company. He is also a Non-Executive Director of National Air Traffic Services, KBC Advanced Technologies plc, and Norwood Systems. He is a member of the E-commerce Advisory Board of the UK Enterprise Division of Zurich Financial Services.
