National Grid was commended for its 2004/05 Annual Report at the ifsProShare Annual Awards in London.
The National Grid 2004/05 Annual Report was commended in the category of Best Annual Report for Private Investors by a FTSE100 company. The winner of the category was BAA. National Grid was the only company to be commended in this category.
The Awards recognise best practice and good communication of companies with their shareholders – be they employees or individual investors. They set a benchmark of corporate excellence and this year some of the categories and criteria were adjusted to represent current trends and initiatives based on feedback received.
