How to Access Environmental Information
National Grid plc and its UK subsidiary companies (“National Grid”) are not considered to be designated public authorities under either, the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) or the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and therefore are not required to consider requests made under this legislation.
National Grid as a responsible and customer focussed company will however consider any reasonable request for environmental information. Before making a request we ask that you search this website which holds a lot of environmental information.

Is there a charge for obtaining information?
Not normally, however National Grid reserves the right to request a reasonable fee for providing information. If a charge applies you will be notified of the cost before we collect any information.
