Information
Most shareholders now receive just this summary document, providing highlights of the Company’s performance, and can view the full Annual Report and Accounts and other documents on our website. This document is not intended to provide a full summary of the results and state of affairs of the Company. Shareholders are therefore encouraged to read the information available on our website, particularly in relation to matters in the Notice of Annual General Meeting.
Shareholders may note that, by not receiving a paper copy of the full Annual Report and Accounts or Annual Review, the environmental benefits are significant. For example, we calculate that, based on last year’s production, if every shareholder received the Annual Report or Annual Review electronically via the website and just received this summary instead, we would save 150 tonnes of paper each year. This equates to around 2,550 trees, or over 6 hectares of forest per annum, and, in the process of paper production alone, we would reduce annual energy usage by 147,000 kWh and save over 194,000 litres of water.
