The batch file processes for the Gemini system have not been running since the start of today’s gas day, Friday 25 July 2008. This has resulted in all batch files submitted since 05:30 hrs not being processed. This means that whilst shippers can submit files relating to the following D and D-1 business processes, none have been administered by the system:

• Demand attribution
• DM nominations
• NDM nominations
• Entry flow nominations
• NBP gas trades
• Capacity auctions

xoserve has a team working on resolving the situation as quickly as possible. National Grid Gas are working closely with them and are developing a restoration plan that will enable us to coordinate the processing of files and auctions once the technical issues have been resolved. We will inform you of the restoration plan and proposed timescales in due course.
